Don’t you ever dare to touch me! -Chapter 4 (Kill him)

Emperor Hisakagi Asaname reigned over the kingdom named, Kagi Empire. It was enclaved by four other kingdoms, all having their own distinct geography. This world has only five kingdoms, with their own respective small states. But what makes this world supernatural is that every empire has a magical beast called Heiwano which can only be commanded by their respective emperor. Kagi Empire was situated at the top of the mountain, named Hisayama, surrounded by the river called Utsushiwa. In other words, the whole mountain fell into the empire’s territory. The mountain was rich in minerals, nature with seasons appearing at a convenient time gap, enabling its inhabitants to lead a proper and peaceful life which in turn made a glorious empire.

And now in this oh so glorious empire, in my magnificent room, a person is oh so gloriously sneering at me. Sasagi Kanjo, his older sister, was looking like a person who had to chew a lemon. She could be considered a beauty with her fair skin, big eyes, slim figure and long brown hair and wearing a light pink, sakura patterned kimono, if only she stops making this face. It was equally funny and annoying.

“What led the Empress of Kagi to this humble servant quarter? Is something the matter?

Tsuyoshi wasn’t this petty who will lose his manners just because he doesn’t like someone but he also wasn’t the one to bow before someone who could do wrong with a straight face.

“Insolent, what servant quarter? Does the Spring Palace look like servant quarter to you?”, she said while gritting her teeth so tight that he thought they will fall out lest she stops soon.

“No, or perhaps it is, so what does the Empress want?” He was intent to make her angry. Truly, her anger kept rising at the edge of exploding volcano that only by her eyes, this so-called innocent brother would’ve burned to ashes. This type of behavior didn’t come to surprise her much because she always thought that there was deep planning for his subtle demeanor. For her, no one was such a kind, white-faced person, always showing-off his goodwill, making others less competent.

Her twisted way of thinking made her countenance even more ugly, fumingly she demanded, “Tellme, what did you do for his majesty after I left, that he filled you with this much gifts?”

“Is the esteemed Empress doesn’t know, I thought this was what you would have wanted, seeing that the Empress was so intent on throwing me on the Emperor’s bed.” Tsuyo angrily retorted. His manners thrown out of the window. He didn’t give damn about it. Hearing her commanding tone plus her guiltless speech was disgusting. He would’ve vomit on her this instant. He was seriously doubting her status on this body’s sister but sadly there wasn’t even a speck of hint in the story which could explain his suspicion.

But whatever, Empress or sister or not, ‘I won’t let even one person insult me’. His sister, Minami, always taught him that the person who can’t speak for himself is can’t speak for anyone ever.

“You brat, I knew there was a façade behind this fake innocence.”

“So what? Does the Empress want to expose me?”

“Expose? Huh, why would I bother when I can clearly just—“

“I reckon that the Empress can refrain herself to complete her speech.”

Both stunned moved their eyes to the entrance where the Emperor of Kagi was standing. He strolled towards them, heavily worn dark red & gold outlined dragon robe fluttering with winds, black pooled ebony eyes were staring, indignantly, black strands flowed below waistline with each step combined his wheat-colored skin was oozing a very masculine feeling. He stopped at 3m a distance.

The Empress came out of her stupor and kowtowed gracefully followed by her maidservant. But while her head was down, she didn’t perceive that her majesty not only ignored her, also kept staring at her brother ‘I’m right here, look at me’ while the said person avoided his gaze completely, just looking at the right adjacent wall ‘I won’t, you’re bad.’

The Emperor thought ‘I should’ve known. It appears I must have gone a little too far last night.’

Without voicing his thoughts, he directed a glance to the kneeling Empress, “It seems the Empress is quite tired. You should rest in your palace.” In other words, ‘Get out, you are a nuisance’. But how can a wife, covering her eyes with a golden band, understand this, instead she meticulously said, “This wife is fine after seeing his highness however why—“

“You may leave now.”

She left within a minute without another word. The two people left stood motionlessly for fully 10 minutes. The Emperor having enough advance a little but stopped after seeing Tsuyo getting rigid and almost taking a step back.

“I apologize about last night. I shouldn’t have done that.”

“Don’t say anything. Just don’t”, Tsuyo said menacingly.                                                                      “What? Shouldn’t have done what? Forcing me to stay or knocking me down? You have a lot to apologize for.”

He was so angry with this bastard. How dare he think after doing something like the previous night, he can come and just say his apology? I will kill him.
